Waitress
Adrienne Shelly, U.S., 2007, 104m
Starring Keri Russell, Nathan Fillion, Cheryl Hines, Adrienne Shelly, Eddie Jemison with Jeremy Sisto and Andy Griffith

Jenna (Keri Russell) is a poor southern gal who’s trapped in an unhappy life by her overbearing and controlling husband (Jeremy Sisto). Matters are only made worse by the discovery of an unwanted pregnancy. Through her difficult times, her only outlet is baking unusual pies that are inspired by her trials and tribulations. Things begin to improve when she writes a letter to her unwanted baby and meets Dr. Pomatter (Nathan Fillion), the handsome new gynecologist. A touching, comedic hit at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, Waitress stands as a lasting testament to the many talents of the late Adrienne Shelly.
